Legal Counseling

MCBL and the Business Law Corps have partnered to provide legal counseling to Hawaii small business owners. Licensed corporate attorneys offer free, private 30-minute sessions, by appointment only, to address specific questions and offer general guidance. Please note that these sessions cannot cover niche or industry-specific questions, document reviews, or long-term legal assistance.

What Attorneys Can Assist You With: BLC attorneys specialize in matters related to choice of entity, governance, for-profit corporations, LLCs, and partnerships. If your questions extend beyond these domains, they will provide the best guidance possible and, if necessary, direct you to relevant resources.

Appointment Schedule: Appointments are available every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

*Additional appointments for the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays will be conducted at the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation (HTDC). Visit their website to schedule an appointment.

How to Book an Appointment:

1.      Complete and submit the MCBL legal counseling request form.

2.      An MCBL team member will contact you, providing the necessary forms if required.

3.      Once all forms are completed, we will offer you the next appointment.

4.      You will have 48 hours to respond, confirming or declining the appointment.

5.      Upon confirmation, you will receive an email containing the details of your appointment.

CANCELLATION: Should you decide to cancel your appointment, please get in touch with us immediately.
