Program Details

The Patsy T. Mink Launch My Business (LMB) is our signature business program, designed in 2013 the program has graduated 13 business cohorts and has assisted women in starting, growing and thriving in their business. LMB supports women entrepreneurs through training, counseling, mentoring and access to capital.

Launch my Business (LMB) is a 1-day, 7-hour class that focuses on the initial planning phase of starting a new business. Participants will give shape to their ideas in order to turn their concept into a viable business.

Grow My Business (GMB) is a 7-week, 45-hour class for entrepreneurs in year 1 or 2 of business operation. The class helps small business owners understand key principles of business growth and expansion. Learn how to think clearly and objectively about problems and develop solutions that work best for your business. Participate in highly effective, hands-on exercises that will equip you with the knowledge, tools and resources to manage daily operations effectively.

Innovate My Business (IMB) is a 7-week, 45-hour class for entrepreneurs in year 1 to 3 of business operation that are interested in product development. The class helps small business owners understand key principles of developing their own product. Learn how to think clearly and objectively about problems and develop solutions that work best for your product launch. Participate in highly effective, hands-on Labs that will equip you with the knowledge, tools and resources needed to develop a salable product.

Launch My Non-Profit (LMNP) is a Non-Profit Development & Grant Writing 2- part workshop

The Non-Profit Development & Grant Writing workshop is divided in two parts. Part 1 is for aspiring social entrepreneurs and new non-profit founders. For community visionaries that want to launch a new program or initiative to help solve a social problem or enhance quality of life. No prior experience is necessary.

Part 2 is Grant Writing 101 a "how to" workshop for community visionaries. If you operate a non-profit organization and want a better understanding of how grant funding works, then Grant Writing 101 is a great place to start. Grant Writing 101 is for founders and board members of new non-profits that have received their IRS 501(c)(3) tax exemption and have been active for at least one year.
