As we enter our fifth year of operation, we'll continue to strive to become the leading resource that advances professional success for women in Hawaii. It is through the generous help of YWCA O'ahu, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and generous community partners that we're able to empower generations of women entrepreneurs and leaders. the 8th cohort of Launch My Business has begun! We have a mix of entrepreneurs in the cohort! From Cultural non-profits, Artists, financial services & established food & beverage entrepreneurs. LMB will take the cohort through a sequence of lessons designed to help businesses, step-by-step, from the ground up. Under the guidance and instruction of Noela Napoleon a seasoned business professional, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to turn their viable ideas into a competitive business enterprise.
Wahine Forum
On Thursday October 27, 2016 Hawaii Business Magazine and The Queen’s Health Systems proudly presented the 9th annual Wahine Forum at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballrooms.
The Mink Leadership Alliance had the privilege of a special breakout session with Jane Miller, Keynote Speaker and COO of Gallup. They were able to get personal guidance and advice on how to interpret their strengths and use them on a daily basis.

October 26, 2016 MCBL receives the prestigious Holomua Award for outstanding efforts in supporting Boots to Business and our veteran-owned Businesses.
BOOTS TO BUSINESS
Boots to Business is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as part of the Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP). The curriculum continuum includes steps for evaluating business concepts, the foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan and information on SBA resources available to help access start-up capital and additional technical assistance.

MCBL is honored to receive the prestigious Holomua Award for the second year in a row. The center continues to support the B2B program by providing Business Instructors and Counselors. "We're honored and proud to be a part of the B2B program, mahalo to SBA for including MCBL in the program!, Over the last 2 years we've helped several military entrepreneurs launch their businesses here in Hawaii" Noela Napoleon, Business Instructor for MCBL.

Mahalo to all our loyal supporters for your generous donations! The annual MCBL Fundraiser and Launch my Business Alumni showcase of products and services was held on October 21st this year with a celebrate Autumn theme. Everyone enjoyed seasonal Wines, Beer and a variety of culinary delights. There was an amazing silent auction, fabulous door prizes and new businesses that were launched! Join us again next year and continue to support small businesses and entrepreneurs!
